Advisory Councils

The School of Information Studies Advisory Councils provide the School with feedback and input regarding its programs, strategic plan, student learning outcomes, curriculum, and other issues as necessary. SIS maintains the following Councils:

Alumni Advisory Council

Membership includes representatives of SIS alumni. The AAC meets at least once per semester.

Diversity Advisory Council

Membership includes representatives of alumni and current students. The DAC meets at least once per semester.

Student Advisory Council

Membership includes representatives of current students in both SIS Online and LSU Online programs. The SAC meets bi-monthly during the academic year.
