Undergraduate Workshops
CAS undergraduate workshops offer practical, skill-based sessions to support academic success throughout the semester. Topics include time management, effective studying, and test preparation, with strategies to help students stay organized, improve learning and retention, and manage stress during high-demand academic periods.
This workshop focuses on front-loading success by introducing key academic resources and platforms. Students will learn how to navigate syllabi, keep track of assignments, form effective study routines and create an action plan to manage potential challenges throughout the semester.

In this workshop students will learn how to set SMART goals, prioritize academic tasks, and audit their time. The session includes hands-on use of the Master To Do List to break down and manage weekly responsibilities.

This presentation provides instruction and practice on a variety of note-taking methods,
including the Cornell method, split-page note taking layouts, and digital tools. Students
will learn how to select and apply techniques for organizing and retaining course
material.

This workshop introduces the Study Cycle and Bloom's Taxonomy, along with study strategies that will support students’ critical thinking and understanding throughout the semester. This workshop focuses on how to plan and prepare for final exams. Students will create a Master-To-Do List and Final Exam Planner, review strategies for interleaving study sessions, and explore best practices for cumulative exam preparation and prioritization.
