Three LSU Students, One LSUS Student Named Presidential Management Fellows Finalists
Three LSU students and one LSU Shreveport student have been named Presidential Management Fellows Finalists. The Presidential Management Fellows program, or PMF, is administered by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. The prestigious and highly competitive program offers finalists employment with the federal government.

LSU Sets Record $6.1 Billion Economic Impact on the State
LSU supported $6.1 billion in Louisiana economic output, over $2.4 billion in statewide earnings and an estimated 45,700 direct and indirect annualized jobs in fiscal year 2021-2022. This equals $690 of output per Louisianian and $13.85 for every dollar of Louisiana state funding provided to LSU.

World-Renowned LSU Center for Internal Auditing to Add Cybersecurity, and Environmental, Social & Governance Focus
The LSU Center for Internal Auditing, the world’s first and premier university-based internal audit education program, is expanding to include a greater focus on cybersecurity risk and environmental, social & governance, or ESG, issues. In recognition of these changes, the program has been renamed the LSU Center for Internal Auditing & Cybersecurity Risk Management, or LSUCIA&CRM.

Trailblazing Partnership with Industry, State: LSU Leads the Way in Cyber Protection for Louisiana Higher Ed
The establishment of a student-run Security Operations Center, or SOC, on LSU’s flagship campus in Baton Rouge with an immediate counterpart at LSU Shreveport will enhance the security posture of the LSU system. The SOCs will leverage shared resources and threat intelligence across Louisiana and create a blueprint for as many as 31 institutions of higher learning in the state to protect themselves from cyberattacks.
