Wellbeing Committee

The Wellbeing Committee was created to implement programs and/or activities to increase wellbeing among students, faculty, staff, and alumni of the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine (LSU Vet Med) community. Wellbeing encompasses a holistic view of physical, emotional, creative, environmental, financial, occupational, intellectual, social, and spiritual health.

Mission

The Wellbeing Committee will inspire, create, and maintain an environment that promotes personal growth and wellbeing among individuals in the LSU Vet Med community through an inclusive culture and intentional programming.

Goals

The Wellbeing Committee shall function as a forum to discuss and implement LSU Vet Med wellbeing programs and initiatives that serve to improve the personal and professional well-being of students, staff, faculty, and alumni.
The Wellbeing Committee shall offer recommendations to the LSU Vet Med administration on wellbeing-related items, such as policies, media presence, training, resources, etc.
