Biography 

Kanick Kyrin J. Lewis, III (Kyrin) is the student engagement coordinator for the Manship School of Mass Communication. Lewis graduated from Louisiana State University in the fall of 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in African and African American studies. While on campus, he worked as a Manship Ambassador and resident assistant. Lewis was also a Tiger TV reporter and KLSU DJ. In December 2021, Lewis received his LSU Communicator Certificate, which is given to students who have successfully completed rigorous communication-intensive coursework within their disciplines. He is elated to be back in the place he calls his “second home.” Lewis uses his passion for forming intentional connections to successfully appeal to students, faculty and staff.
