The Agribusiness Club is a professional organization devoted to building leaders to help contribute to society. We have a passion for success and strive to prepare members for a successful career in Agribusiness. As a member, you will be involved in numerous activities that not only help you grow as a student, but provide you with the resources to develop professional networking skills.
We accomplish this through conventions, expos, internship opportunities, and field trips, where you are given the opportunity to meet agribusiness related professionals. Besides your professional growth and development, you will have the opportunity to develop a relationship with your community, peers, and departmental professors. Named 2019-20 Ag Club of the Year.

The mission of the College of Agriculture Student Association at Louisiana State University A&M (ASA) is to represent the needs of the students in the LSU College of Agriculture by promoting camaraderie, expanding networks, and creating opportunities that collectively foster personal growth, professional development and provide premier student experiences.
ASA serves as the governing body for all Ag Student Organizations and as the voice of students in the LSU College of Agriculture. ASA conducts programming to maximize student involvement by holding monthly meetings, service initiatives, and interactive and engaging events. The Agriculture Student Association assists clubs and organizations in need-based funding, promotion of events, conferences, competitions, etc. ASA serves as a liaison between Ag students and College of Agriculture administration, LSU Student Government and the LSU administration.

The Air & Waste Management Association is a nonprofit, nonpartisan professional organization that enhances knowledge and expertise by providing a neutral forum for technology exchange, professional development, networking opportunities, public education, and outreach to more than 9000 environmental professionals in 65 countries. A&WMA also promotes global environmental responsibility and increases the effectiveness of organizations to make critical decisions that benefit society.

The purpose of Alpha Gamma Rho is "to make better men." We achieve this goal through academics, social events, and in being a professional fraternity. In fact, we are the only social and professional fraternity at LSU. AGR is similar to other social fraternities in that it has a strong group of members and an on-campus house in which members can live during their college years. Our members also enjoy socials and exchanges with other Greek organizations.
However, AGR offers more than just the social aspect; it is also a professional fraternity. All members of AGR have career interests related to our fraternity’s values, which is beneficial when seeking a job or internship. We also take pride in the traditions handed down to us from our many great alumni. This tradition includes, but is not limited to, an interest in agriculture, a love for your brother and your community, and a strong desire to make yourself the best person you can be.

Animal Care for a Cause was established to advocate for abandoned and neglected animals by organizing fundraisers to support local humane socities and rescue organizations. These organization rely on community donations to provide essential services such as veterinary care, fostering, and adoption. Our goal is to not only provide financial support but also volunteer our time and services, acting as a voice for animals and raising awareness about animal cruelty and the vital services available in our community.

The Entomology Club at LSU provides its members with a wide range of activities and learning opportunities. We conduct entomology and arthropod related outreach events throughout the state of Louisiana, to teach citizens more about the wonders of insects and their importance in our lives and the natural world. We also host many fun and exciting events throughout the year including insect collecting trips, tailgates, chili cook offs, pot lucks, and even cricket spitting competitions. We also publish a semester newspaper, which will allow you to talk about your research, interests, and brush up on your writing and editing skills. This club provides a space to interact with other students and faculty who are passionate about insects and the environment in a friendly and inclusive manner. You can be involved as much as you want to and ANYONE is welcome, whether you study entomology or not!

The Fashion Association at LSU, a student organization within the College of Agriculture, engages in various fashion events in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, fostering resume-building experiences for members. Additionally, the association annually hosts a student-produced fashion show, sponsored by local businesses, drawing an average of 300 attendees and showcasing original student-designed garments.

The Food Science Club provides numerous activities intended to promote student involvement in local, regional and national IFT activities. The club also assists student's professional development, help students better understand society, develop teamwork skills and a sense of social responsibility and be prepared for the real world. This is done through organized student activities designed to enhance knowledge of food science, expose students to leadership roles and meet professionals employed in their fields of study.

The Small and Exotic Animal Club is established for developing an awareness of the small and exotic animal science and the human role we play in the animal kingdom. The Small and Exotic Animal Club is organized in such a manner as to provide:

The Student Association of the Society of Wetland Scientists is affiliated with the South Central Chapter of the Society of Wetland Scientists, whose mission is to promote understanding, conservation, protection, restoration, science-based management, and sustainability of wetlands. At LSU, the Student Association brings together an inter-disciplinary group of students interested in science, management, and policy issues surrounding Louisiana's unique wetland ecosystems.
The diversity within our communities and wetlands is what gives Louisiana such a rich culture, and the health of Louisiana's wetland ecosystems directly impacts the well-being of these communities. Therefore, as a student-led organization, we are committed to the inclusion of students from all racial and socioeconomic backgrounds. We are also committed to a practice of intersectional environmentalism through a focus on wetlands-related educational events and service projects that promote environmental equity in under-served communities.
